History: Discover how our beloved Drifter developed from early "rag and tube" ultralight designs such as the Scout minimum aircraft and Hummer microlight. These aircraft designs were extensively modified resulting in the Maxair Drifter, followed by the Austflight Drifter. Austflight continued to improve the Drifter design to the present day SB 582 certified Drifter. Drifter Aircraft Pty Ltd will provide a pathway for the Drifter into the modern world of recreational and sport aviation.
